Housing

We offer accommodation for five people in an apartment above the center. The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a kitchen, living space, and  a terrace.

If you are interested in staying in the apartment, please get in touch with us.

If you would rather stay outside of the Center, or none of the rooms are available in your preferred dates, we can assist you in your search for alternative accommodation.  Please, fill in and submit the appropriate form (Link here). Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee we will always be able to find an appropriate apartment, as Marrakesh is very popular with tourists and accommodation is often in short supply, but we will do our best to help you.

We will charge you a 150 fee for help with accommodation search. The fee is only applicable if we manage to find you an apartment.

You can also search for accommodation yourself among the hundreds of hotels, hostels, and AirBnBs available in the city.

Food

Morocco is well-known for its delicious food and it is possible to feed yourself well on any budget. Be sure to try the classic dishes such as various types of tagine, pastilla, harira soup and, of course, the traditional Friday couscous! If you are concerned about budgeting, you can save a lot by cooking your own food. We have a kitchen available both in our apartment and in the language center itself. Small corner shops will carry essentials such as bread, dairy, conserves, and basic toiletries. For more substantial groceries, head to a larger shop such as a Carrefour. You can also find specialised shops – bakeries, butcher’s and so on – scattered across the city. For fresh produce, head to any open-air market.

For drinks, Morocco is famous for its green tea with mint, usually sweetened generously and served in a traditional silver teapot. Fresh juice is also popular and it’s great if you want to cool down after a hot summer day – although many people still swear by a cup of hot tea!

Also, take note of our Moroccan cooking courses directly at the centre in order to combine linguistic and culinary learning!
